Anjali is a freelance artist and photographer living in the UK. She spent 17 years studying and training professionally in ballet and contemporary dance in both the UK and Canada, performing at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montréal and The Place Theatre in London in the presence of Prince Andrew.
Following a successful business career in London, Anjali's artistic talents have since diversified into commercial and artistic photography. Anjali has a passion for many subjects including nature, landscapes, seascapes, flowers, horses, architecture, food and commercial products with a niche in racing photography artwork.
Anjali's work has been featured in numerous publications, websites, and promotional media. These include Surrey Life Magazine, The Surrey Advertiser, Getsurrey.co.uk, The Telegraph, The Venture Capital Journal, Ashtead Park Garden Centre, Playball UK, EzeeSport, RaceTech, Simon Mulhearn Architectural Landscapes, A&G Choclatl and The Epsom Racing Staff Welfare Charity (previously the Epsom Training & Development Fund). Great support has been received by many local businesses promoting her work, notably The Framing Workshop & Gallery in Ashtead, Milners, Cairds, The Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Park amongst many others. She has also worked with Wahaca and a number of restaurants in the UK, musicians on their album covers, authors with their book biographies, and Tourist Guide brochures for Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Anjali is extremely proud to be the Resident Artist at both Epsom Downs Racecourse and Sandown Park Racecourse with a total of 14 pieces exhibited throughout both sites. She also participates at other events held at the racecourses. She has previously also had an installation at The Derby Arms, which familiarised local residents with her work. In September 2011, Anjali had a collection of her racing artwork featured at the Equestrian Symposium/Racing Festival in Chengdu, China in promotion of the sport returning to China in collaboration with RaceTech UK and The Chengdu Equestrian Association. Anjali is delighted to exhibit annually at a number of local yards as part of the Epsom Racehorse Trainers' Open Day.
From commissions to special unique bespoke artwork, Anjali thoroughly enjoys working with her clients to achieve the perfect piece. All her images and existing artwork can be specifically designed to coordinate with any colour scheme, in any size and with various effects, available as prints and high specification, UV protected canvases, or mural transfers.
